“Well, in all of the positive customer service reviews I find it very interesting that Sunny16 does not include any negative reviews for people to read. Two nights ago I wrote a middle of the road review after receiving and loading up my Voyager camera bag detailing what to me, as a photographer, were some deficiencies of the bag that might be of interest to potential purchasers. My review is nowhere to be found. I also noted that there are 75 negative reviews listed against the Voyager; I could find none of those reviews! In my mind that does not speak well about Sunny16. Apparently the marketing folks do not want desire to operate with transparency.
As an update to my earlier review, the bag is not a bad bag, especially if it was at a lower than $180 "on sale" pricepoint. For many, it may even be a great bag. I'm still undecided as to whether or not I will keep it but am inclining towards keeping it. If the company was reputable and transparent that would go a long ways to being satisfied for me.”
“Received my black Sunny16 Voyager bag today. It looks great and seems to be well constructed but has some serious limitations I didn't expect. For starters, the side entry pocket is way too small for my Nikon D500 camera. With the battery grip it is next to impossible to use. The inside of that access flap does not hold Velcro partitions so that space is limited to a long lens. I next configured the bag for a top load of my D500 with mounted battery grip. It fits but with little give for padding. In addition, there is a large amount of empty space on either side of the D500 that is not configurable. Next, I configured the bottom of the bag for some lenses and accessories. The included Velcro partitions do not adhere well to the sides or each other. They easily pull loose. I finally installed a few Velcro partitions that I had and they remained in place. With the back cover fully unzipped and folded back to open the bag access to the very bottom of the bag is impeded by the cover, which does not fully open when unzipped. Getting used to the back opening at the back won't be easy (I do understand the security reasons for back cover opening) as all the front pockets are on the front. To use the bag requires continual reposition from front to back and with one side open you cannot access the other. A real pain in my view when your on the go. The outside material is nice and supple with water proof zippers. Unfortunately Sunny16 used narrow teeth zippers which means that zipping up a full bag is tough as you have to continually squeeze the zippers together in order to zip it up. There is a lot of room in the bag and I do not have it fully loaded. That said, much of the accessory room is via flat panels. Great for a laptop or tablet but not much else. Only two small front outside pockets for accessories such as batteries, memory cards, lenspens, cleaning supplies etc. There is a zipper pocket at the top of the inside of the case but if you top load your camera you are limited to what you can put in that one. The tripod mounts great on the side of the case without a head on it. But that makes the bag side heavy. Mounting it on the bottom using the included straps works but you cannot get the straps tight around the tripod because of the "grab" clips used so it rides very loose in that position. I was disappointed that waist straps are not included with the bag!!! You can order them from Sunny16 for $30 which seems very steep to me. Waist straps should always be included with a backpack such as this. I rated this as "OK" because of the above issues. If you are looking for a solid, easy configurable bag this might not be the one you want. For $180 (on sale) it is priced very steep for what it delivers. I do a fair amount of traveling and like to walk and hike which all require an easy to use bag; this might not be the one I had hoped. For smaller cameras, such as mirrorless SLRs, it might be a good choice but still, the price! I've pretty much been a ThinkTank camera bag user and was looking at the Voyager in hopes that it could serve me in Alaska with smaller loads. While it could fill that bill it is cumbersome to use.”

“The most comfortable bag I've ever had. I usually never spend more than 50 bucks on a backpack, but this was totally worth every penny. There is so much space, pockets and zippers for my personal stuff along with space for camera gear. It kept the shape when fully packed and doesn't easily topple over (like most other bags). I love the luggage passthrough and the secure zippers.”
