“I like the bag with the exception of the extremely poor service after the purchase!!! After using the bag maybe three times one of the metal snaps came off the bag. I contacted the company with a picture so they could see the bag and part that needed to be replaced. After an extended delay they sent the wrong part. Since then they have ignored every email requesting they send the right part. This is going on six plus months!! Seems when their bag fails they are not very committed to serving the problem !!! Very disappointing!!”
“The worst customer service and purchase experience I’ve ever encountered. Purchased a bag and it would not fit my needs so returned it immediately. Website says free returns but there is a sizable restocking fee. They approved the return and after two months we still do not have the refund yet they have their bag back. Do not recommend dealing with this company. The people I have dealt with have been cordial but not helpful is resolving anything.”
“I bought this bag hoping to FINALLY find a beautiful bag that I can bring my gear and laptop on the road with. I researched it pretty extensively but I guess not enough. Pretty disappointed with this purchase. The exterior is decent quality, but it came with several threads already shedding in the seams. The overall material inside and around the bag is pretty cheap and even sometimes loose in spots it shouldn't be.
When I went to pack my gear in it (listed below) it was bursting at the seams to fit everything. It doesn't really pass the test for a decent travel bag. Although the front outside is decent quality, the back and interior fabrics feel plastic-y and very cheap. They do not feel like they will last the test of friction while moving around. I also felt that the laptop was not safe from the pressure of the gear in the bag-which could cause the screen to break in the future. Especially since the laptop slot is to lay almost directly on the back.
My gear: Macbook pro 17" (did fit) Canon 5d mark iv, canon 24-70 2.8, canon 70-200 2.8, canon 50 1.2, canon 16-35 2.8, 1 flash (I removed this and it still had issues). All these items fit. But once the laptop was in the bag it was an issue. Without the laptop the bag was a problem to zip up. I feel confident the outside pockets would fit the batteries and chargers and maybe a wallet or filter wallet. I did not test these
When opening the back to access the gear, the back does not open flat. Although this was not advertised, it seems a missed detail that they should have been able to fix. Ya know, with this being one of the main features of the bag.
Lastly the dividers. The dividers are cheap thin foam that will easily bend in half. They DO NOT feel like they will protect my gear while I walk or hike with this backpack. It's pretty standard with camera dividers provided to have some that will fit long horizontal and vertical. The ones included only have two long vertical ones-which makes using the quick access side pocket pretty terrible since you can barely put a 24-70 lens on your camera in that spot. The alignment of the quick access side pocket doesn't quite fit with my canon 5d mark iv (one of the most popular pro cameras on the market).
Id recommend this bag for a hobbiest. It is NOT good for pros or anyone above "I take pictures on vacay with my small mirrorless camera." I'd call this an influencer's bag. But even then I don't think influencers would like it much. It will not stand the test of time. Such a pity.
Go with a more recognizable camera bag brand. I'll probably be going back to peak design after this.”
“The bag is functional and I do enjoy it but the quality is questionable unfortunately and the warranty is apparently very weak. Customer service I didn’t feel was particularly good at resolving this issue.
Upon taking it out of the box there were a lot of slight imperfections like the stray stitching here and there (you can see a little one bottom left of this picture in the pocket. Lot of little imperfections like this that made me question the quality of the build but I kept the bag and didn’t mind. After just 3 months or so with very minimal regular use the strap that holds the tripod in on the side pocket is halfway coming unstitched from the bag. No incident occurred that would cause this damage and it’s been covid so I really have not used the bag all that much.
I emailed the company to get it repaired or swap out for a new bag and they told me I would have to pay for shipping the replacement. Thought that was kinda lame since the product was the issue not me but whatever but when we moved forward with the process they changed their mind and said I needed to pay $80 for the new bag AND shipping. I just bought this bag! Why am I now paying $80+shipping for one that HOPEFULLY has better build quality than the last?
I declined and now I just have a relatively new bag that’s apparently already coming apart.
Be cautious.”
“Overpriced for what it is- a plastic backpack. The magnet broke off and disappeared the first time I used it- see photo. The waist straps really are “easily removed”—- one fell off while TSA was examining everything in the bag and I didn’t realize it until I went to use the strap at my next stop. They “offered” to replace it if I paid shipping of $39! That’s what they cost! Not a bargain for over $200! I’m looking at returning it!”
