To ensure a reliable connection, “snap” or “click” hoses together into place so that the fit is tight and snug.To turn device on, insert cord into the connection port on the back of the device and plug the power supply into the wall outlet.

“I have found the DonJoy Iceman Clear3 Cold Therapy Units to be an invaluable resource in my recovery after bilateral total knee replacements. They have controlled the swelling and discomfort I had been having. I have used these units since my operation three weeks ago. They were so successful in the hospital I decided to purchase my own when I returned home two weeks ago. I have been using them for intervals of 30 minutes for 10 hours per day after recommendation from my Physiotherapist. I also use them at other times if I feel discomfort in my knees. They are very soothing. After their use I seem to have more range in movement with less discomfort. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs ice therapy.”

“Do not buy this Item, it is a waste of money. In comparison to using traditional icepack i would rate the don joy ice machine a 1/10. Please see below for a full review why. It does not provide enough cooling to actually help with any swelling. It takes way too much ice every time you have to refill it, it emptied my icemaler after refilling it twice. It its very large and heavy to carry around especially when you are on crutches. The power lead is not long enough to reach more than 2m and the instruction say you are not aloud to use an extension lead. For me i could only use it directly next to a power outlet which is not where i need to use it. Overall i would say this machine is a complete waste of money, i have since stopped using it and gone back to a traditional ice pack which has been much more effective and simple to use without all the fuss! Also i tried to return the item because it does not work as advertised and the pharmacy has been very difficult and are not responding or helping with the return so i have had to file a paypall dispute!”
