The IceMan CLEAR3 cold therapy unit helps reduce pain and swelling, speeding up rehabilitation and recovery. The IceMan helps provide extended cold therapy to aid in a variety of indications and protocols as directed by a medical professional. It utilizes DonJoy’s recirculation system, which helps maintain more consistent and accurate temperatures than other competitive cold therapy units, in a pre-set configuration.

Overview:
ICEMAN with dual pump recirculation technology. The DonJoy® IceMan® features a recirculation system that allows water warmed after flowing through the cold pad to be preserved and remixed with cooler ice water at a constant flow rate, providing consistent cool water distribution throughout the cold pad.
COMPETITORS Other versions restrict or pinch water flow to the cold pad, causing variable flow rates and inconsistent cold pad temperatures.

Please read and understand all warnings and instructions for use before using the device. DO NOT use this device without a prescription and direction from a physician.
Please DO NOT use power boards, adaptors or extension leads to operate device.
STEPS:
Add ice to fill line inside the device.
Add cold water to fill line.
Place lid on the device making sure the lip inserts in groove. Then press front of the lid down to close and secure.
Connect the IceMan® CLEAR3 hose to the cold pad hose. To ensure a reliable connection, “snap” or “click” hoses together into place so that the fit is tight and snug.
To turn device on, insert cord into the connection port on the back of the device and plug the power supply into the wall outlet.

It worked so well there, that I immediately searched for the unit on-line and SuperPaharmacy had it on special. I purchased the unit on the day of the surgery and it arrived 10 days later in Perth. “I have found the DonJoy Iceman Clear3 Cold Therapy Units to be an invaluable resource in my recovery after bilateral total knee replacements. They have controlled the swelling and discomfort I had been having. I have used these units since my operation three weeks ago. They were so successful in the hospital I decided to purchase my own when I returned home two weeks ago. I have been using them for intervals of 30 minutes for 10 hours per day after recommendation from my Physiotherapist. I also use them at other times if I feel discomfort in my knees. They are very soothing. After their use I seem to have more range in movement with less discomfort. I would highly recommend them to anyone who needs ice therapy.”

“Do not buy this Item, it is a waste of money. In comparison to using traditional icepack i would rate the don joy ice machine a 1/10. Please see below for a full review why. It does not provide enough cooling to actually help with any swelling. It takes way too much ice every time you have to refill it, it emptied my icemaler after refilling it twice. It its very large and heavy to carry around especially when you are on crutches. The power lead is not long enough to reach more than 2m and the instruction say you are not aloud to use an extension lead. For me i could only use it directly next to a power outlet which is not where i need to use it. Overall i would say this machine is a complete waste of money, i have since stopped using it and gone back to a traditional ice pack which has been much more effective and simple to use without all the fuss! Also i tried to return the item because it does not work as advertised and the pharmacy has been very difficult and are not responding or helping with the return so i have had to file a paypall dispute!”
