“It's hard to find treats that will keep my dogs occupied for a few minutes, instead of being gulped down instantly. I avoid all the dried jerky-type things because the miniature poodle can't digest them and the Maltese nearly chokes trying to swallow big chunks. These dental sticks are great; the dogs have to work at them to crumble them up and they must taste good, because they get bright-eyed and active as soon as they hear me open the packet. My review title was tongue in cheek because I still brush the poodle's teeth every day - they are prone to accuulate plaque. It's impossible to know if these sticks make a difference to that, but they are a great investment just as a stand-alone treat.”
