It has been frustrating,upsetting and costly.
I paid £38.99 for a repair service. Courier booked for next day. No show. Takes an average of 10-15 unanswered calls to get through to customer service. New courier booked for next day. Had to again chase them up. They promised to contact me the next day to tell me the verdict for repair. 9 DAYS passed. I phoned every day. Unanswered. When I finally got through, they said my board was so old (1.5 years) that parts unavailable so would have to spend £200 to recondition. However, they offered me a reconditioned board for £130. To save my 10 year old from his upset. I bought one. It arrived 4 days later. Looked great. My son was so happy. He waited patiently while it charged up. We turned it on. Alarms beeping. Red lights flashing. He tried to ride it ( he was a master of his previous board) and it had some vibrating seizures which through him off.
10 calls later I got through to CS and the advised to recalibrate it. Sent me a e-manual and said if I didn't help, they would exchange it.
We did as asked and now it doesn't work at all.
We have been, scammed, fooled, robbed, fobbed off, lied to, avoided.
Surprise surprise they haven't answered my calls or emails since.
My son is heartbroken. We were due to take it on our camping trip today where all the kids ride round the campsite on their boards.
I will be handing over to trading standards today.
Lesson learned and money lost.
