“The design of the cover means that rain can accumulate on the "roof" of the cover. We have inserted "ribs" under the roof between the ridge and the outer edge. This has solved the problem. Now great.”

“Though we were very excited at the prospect of dry washing during those ‘occasional’ Auckland showers, we were soon disappointed by this clothesline cover’s ability to protect the washing from anything more than a light sprinkle. Any rain that an angle can come in from the side, and the eyelet holes running down one side add another for water to intrude.
We have been trying adjustments to improve upon the design, which swiftdry is welcome to run with - having a tight, weighted netting on either side of the line is a effective barrier against the water, whilst still letting enough breeze in. We have also chosen to bolster the side of the cover that runs against the fence (as it would not stay taut and let water in the back) by sandwiching it against the fence with a length of flat wood and some screws.
Having said all that, the cover was easy was install, and does keep the sun off. Quality seems good, just needs some adjustments to design”
