“I bought Aspire 12 (knee-high) to manage swelling after DVT on long bike rides. I wear size 12.5-13 or 46-47 shoes and XL fits perfect. I also bought Performance and the Aspire compression is much better. Would only recommend Performance for post workout recovery, not to manage swelling, but Aspire has good compression. Either model feels better to the touch and looks nicer than other compression sock brands I own. Only concern is that the ankle area does not have enough compression even in Aspire. I work on my feet all day and after 8 hours on my feet swelling still occurs right around the ankle, but they are okay for a 3-hour bike ride. Highly recommended if you don't have severe swelling issues.”
“Swiftwick are my favorite socks for running. I usually wear the Aspire Zero but sometimes need a full compression sock to help with calf soreness on my long runs and the Aspire Twelve is perfect for that.”
“What I love about the Aspire 12 is that it's supportive without feeling restrictive. A mid or low-cut sock feels comfortable and is easy to don during a triathlon, but a drawback is that they leave my calves exposed, which take a pounding. The Aspire 12 provides the same level of comfort and is easy to slip on during a race. It also provides enough support to the calves but is not as tight as a compression sock, which is a big deal since a triathlete can be on course for several hours. I will definitely wear my Aspire 12s at my next race!”
“Several years ago, I was involved in an auto accident that injured both feet. Long story short, I had a right ankle replacement in 2016. Due to arthritis and support, was looking for a sock that could do that.
This sock has enough compression that keeps the blood flowing and stimulates my feet and ankles. Does not wrinkle or ball up to cause blisters. Great sock!”
