Wonderful tactical set! I was a bit afraid of buying it because of the price but it turned out to be amazing. This will be my go to for practice

How are the Handle and Fittings?
Definitely a utility set, simple and sturdy. Great deal for the price, made possible only because there aren't any ornate fittings. Highly recommended for beginner practitioners since blades are made from 5160 steel and will be durable!

Beautiful set! I got all 3 since it makes a lot more sense for the price. This is my first experience with shadow dancer and their swords are a highger quality than what I am used to.

How are the Handle and Fittings?
When choosing this set, I was between this and the Hanwei tactical set and thought that the brass fittings looked sharper on this and the Hanwei looked more plain. The pieces feel solid, no rattling. The grip is good with low chance of slipping. The blade extends to a tang which has the two handle pieces attached to it with the tang the full length of the piece--you can't see this in the pictures. The saya is very light and I think may be wood coated in fliberglass; blade fits well with the need to push tsuba with your thumb to get it started on draw. Does not have a hamon and blade is rather plain yet the purpose of this set is to be used and not to be placed in a display case so this is not held against it at all.
