How's the Blade?
How are the Handle and Fittings?
Solid option for anyone looking for a reliable sturdy katana. Beginners to cutting might want to avoid it because its 1095 steel and it can be quite unforgiving if you make any mistakes. The choji hamon is very nice, fittings are secure. Balance and handling is pretty good especially at this price. I did not notice the option to upgrade to Hishigami Pro and now I'm regretting it, so be sure to get that if you can.

Really like this one, especially the choji style hamon and tsuka. If you get this be sure to upgrade to the hishigami pro, the tighter ito is worth every penny. Wish more companies offered an upgradable ito. Fittings are decent but nothing special, what makes this one stand out is the execution. The transitions are super smooth and drawing the sword is very clean. Only thing I'll say is the handle is a bit short, so if you have big hands skip this one. Balance is nice but could be a bit better if the handle was a little longer. Overall really good value for the price.

I purchased this sword mainly for the unique hamon to add to my collection. Overall, the katana does not disappoint and is better than expected in terms of quality
