“Exquisite from start to finish. This is one of my more expensive swords in the collection and I have to say its worth the price. The crab koshirae are all detailed beautifully. I was initially worried about the colors as it can appear different on the screen but it did not disappoint. I was informed that I would be waiting almost 4 to 6 months for this katana due to the urushi scabbard. I spent a few months in Japan a few years ago to observe and understand this process and understood how time consuming it would be. I have to commend the swordis team since they updated me regularly regarding the progress of the sword. Although the price of this sword is quite high, it is on par with one of similar quality in Japan. It has been a pleasure dealing with them as I was quite concerned about receiving the sword, quality, shipping issues and more but it turned out to be a great experience. Will definitely be back for more.”

“My father in law buys a sword every year to represent the hopes of the year ahead for the family. This year it was my first time to add to the tradition. Received this just in time to start the year and he was very happy with the quality and symbolism of the katana.”

“I finally received the sword after many months and upon arrival, the katana is beautiful and a very small stain on the ito that would not be visible unless you scrutinize. It isn’t a big issue, but I did reach out to support and they offered the options of: a return and refund, sending it to their specialist for the ito to be replaced, or sending me a free ito and having the sword sent out with it to their specialist whenever I want. I opted for the latter since the stain was negligible and I could have it replaced anytime. Very happy with the sword and service! I also received a great discount for my next purchase!”
