“We liked the first one and bought another for the second tablet. I tested 4 different cases before sticking with this one. This is a two-piece design with a front frame that fits inside the back foam. You cannot use the back foam without the front frame. My one complaint is the screen protector that is glued inside the front frame piece. Unfortunately, it impedes the smooth feel of the screen - so I recommend removing it if this is a concern for you like it was for us. We had a "tempered glass" screen protector on our device already, so this was a flimsy and unnecessary piece for us. The screen part is glued inside the front frame that goes on the iPad. For our blue case, we removed the screen film from inside the front frame and removed all the extra adhesive we could. We then put the iPad back in the case and it works perfectly. We all prefer it to the one that still has the plastic screen protector in place. The bonus pencil holder in the back is very secure, but accessible. We haven't installed the shoulder strap yet, but is a nice option that drew us to this model.”
