Bit of fun but works well enough. Keys are small but then so is an iPad. It is sturdy and offers good protection too and excellent while on the train or on the plane.

I have an iPad 4 and have been using a Logitech slim keyboard screen cover, but became frustrated with the magnet that olds it allowing it to fall out so i looked for a better solution. Having read other peoples reviews i decided to take the plunge and ordered it. It arrived the next day and was excited to open it and try it out (Im typing on it now!) it comes in a high quality packaging but contains no intructions, the case seems a little cheaply made in comparison to the quality feel of the Logitech keyboard. The plastics are not particularly high quality, and unlike the Logitech keyboard it feels cheap. They keys are also a little springy a bit like a child's keyboard. The iPad clips in securely to the frame, and there is an onboard battery to charge the iPad should it need it. My gripe was that this is a US keyboard, and contains (or so it appears) no £ or € or ¥ symbols.. they are there.. but hidden, and only much searching discovered them, even customer service email gave me the wrong solutions... so if you have one and want to type a pound sign.. hit the hash key... there it is... to get the hash key you have to hold don the Alt Option key near the space bar to get it, this also gives you a euro symbol from the @ key and the ¥ key from the Y key (remember to hold the Alt Option key as you hit the key you were looking for... nothing in any online manual or menu for this... i had to find this out for myself in fact there are many hidden symbols.... if you hold the magic key down you can get these too! Œ?'®†¥¨^ø?åß?ƒ©?????ç??~µ??÷æ“‘« !! All this should have been in the literature they didnt include... So in conclusion its useful to type in the manner of a laptop... the screen is held firmly, but only opens to just a tiny bit past 90degrees,, the keys feel a little cheap...as does the casing. This is my first day using it so I will see how it goes... a small sticker for us Brits telling us where to find our currency and that of our neighbours woulld b helpful.. and perhaps some instructions in the box.. and maybe a slightly better quality feel. Oh and I keep forgetting its not a laptop as i reach for the non existent finger/muse pad,, That would be nice too!!

I gave it as a Christmas gift. It came without instruction nor wires. Seller sends me user manual via email after the fact. Bought online thinking it would be easier experience. This case was not true. I did find it difficult to get Ipad in and out of case.

Looks great but would have given all 5s but for the following: 1) no clear instructions on how to operate case out from box (don't assume user knows what the process is or what the battery buttons mean--I still don't know what each means & which to use!) 2) the top panel already has 2 superficial but noticeable scratches--quite annoying after only having had the case for a week!

I like the case for sturdiness but wish info about the case was included. I guess I have to sync the case with my ipad which I don't know how to do but my daughter says it's not hard to do and she'll help. Not sure about the little buttons either. Why not put a pamphlet with the product?

This was a gift for my husband. I made a mistake and ordered the case for the ipad air and had to return that one. He loved that case but does not like the case for the ipad 4. He says that it is cheaply made out of plastic and has a rough edge all around the base of the key board. I am sorry to say that I will be returning this case as well. Deanna Roche

This is the third case for the iPad that I tried and it is the one I'm keeping. It is sturdy, functions well and has enough weight that it doesn't tip over when using. The keyboard is a bit small and it is heavier than the average but that is what makes it work, so I would recommend it.

Almost perfect case! Very well built, looks amazing (as in the picture) and there is not delay when typing! The only problem is the keys which, to me, are not clicky enough. Other than that, i would highly recommend!
