“This is such a cute case. It will make your iPad look like a mini Macbook. the Cons of this product is that it does make your iPad heavy. It pretty much weight the same as my macbook. And I didn't like the fact that there is no backlight on the keyboard. I don't see it holding up well if it were ever dropped. But its cute.”

“When I received the case I thought it would fit my needs and I liked the battery backup idea. However the Keyboard was very unsatisfactory. It was poor at best after having a keyboard case from Brookstone that finally wore out.. The case not the keyboard. I had to replace this case with a Clamcase which is infinitely better. I liked the clamcase so much I got one for my mini IPad. If you want a better case get the Clamcase Pro.”

“Surprisingly heavy. They say the clamshell is plastic, but the surround on the top part feels like metal on its edge. The bottom has a plate that is screwed on around the perimeter. Ipad fits perfectly. Keyboard is pretty good for typing, spacing is good, keys feel good. All in all, pretty darned pleased. I worry about the hinge based on other reviews here, but it actually looks pretty good. Time will tell. I think this is stiff enough that I don't have to worry about it in kiddo's backpack. Our school went to ebooks this year, hence the ipad with PDF files on it.”
