“Certainly better than using the virtual keyboard. The few negative things I found: 1) The ipad is a little "bouncy" i the keyboard/case when open. So that screen taps tend to want to flip the keyboard side of the clamshell up. 2) Instructions are not current with the product. There is a key for pix taking that is not on the (paper/included) instructions. 3) also, the instructions should describe what each Fn key does. SOme it does, others not. For instance, an up arrow with an underline = apparently sleep mode the ipad. Also: the Command and Alt/Option keys = ? (Maybe its an Apple thing.) 4) Occasionally, the blutooth link, or at leat the iPad's reaction to a keypress, is slow. Pros: 1) Nice fit and fitment. Provides good protection to the ipad. 2) keboard battery life seems good. 3) good purchase value or what you get. 4) USB out port can be ued to recharge ipad or for an LED gooseneck type keyboard light. Interesting: just dicovered that the COmmand+arrow keys act as Home and End. Are there Insert and Delete functions hidden too?”

“In the past 6 or so years I've had 3 Clam case's, They always felt good & sturdy but like a previous poster said they crack around the hinges after a few years & they cost over a $100.00. Well I thought I would try this case & what a POS,I've had it just over a month now and the hinge is busted, the thing was always loose and floppy absolute total garbage DO NOT waste your money on this.”
