“I thought the stand would just be broken off by my 3 and 5 year old and we would end up throwing that part away. What the heck, the kids probably won't use it anyway. Turns out the kids love the stand. It is attached at the pivot point with a metal pin that snaps in and out and slides on plastic tabs which float inside a slot in the back. If they put too much torque on the stand it pops off instead of breaking. Brilliant! My 3 year old has already tested drops with this case a number of different way with no damage to the iPad. Only negative is the slot around the headphone jack. It will prevent you from plugging in larger diameter headphone jacks.”

“Bought this for our little girl. Did not expect much but have to say it's very nice especially if you compare prices with an OtterBox case. Not as at the high end level of quality as the Otter Box but has held up very well and protected unit through several drops.”

“This iPad mini case is certainly kid friendly. It's lightweight and easy to carry. The kick stand is a great feature and it's super sturdy. I wish that the volume controls were easier to see (perhaps this is just because I purchased the green case and everything is black as opposed to having a contrast color). That's a minor thing, though. The case is durable and it looks good. I feel like the ipad mini is protected and I don't feel like I'm lugging around a suitcase. Great case, overall. I would certainly purchase it again.”

“I bought this case, along with the otter box and griffin. Obviously it's under half their cost, but just as protective as the otter box, thinner than the griffin and has a built in stand! Awesome purchase for the cost. As much as I am disgusted by the cost of lifeproof cases, I like that their hard plastic cases offer a nice form factor. The silicon on this case is a nice balance of hard enough to slip into your cargo pant pocket/purse without sticking too much and soft enough to provide a nice grip. The griffin is too sticky and fat. Another cool form factor- neither the otter box nor griffin are waterproof, therefore the rubber hatches are window dressing and deny more access than provide protection. This case dispenses with the hatches and allows easy access to ports.”
