I really like the key board but there is no real operating instruction.

Works great. Easy to set up. Works great with my older Samsung Tab 2 7 inch tablet. Love the backlit features. Case is nice. Magnetic case holds Bluetooth keyboard firmly in place. Great clips for securing tablet to case.

The Cooper Backlight Executive Keyboard case is exactly what I needed for my Time2 TP860B 8" Tablet PC. I don't like the touchscreen for typing more than a few words, so this case was the ideal solution. The keyboard paired easily and the keys feel good. I can touch type, and this keyboard is quite adequate for that. The only hassle was finding out how to change the backlight colour, but a quick search of the Cooper website solved that.

Shame about the shift key. Quote marks not covered in manual, not intuitive. But once found, the keyboard works well.

Disappointing. Caps lock light didn't work. They sent another and it didn't work either. Also, after a few days, when I type, the keys started sticking, and repeating the same letter several times. Backspace (delete) also sticks, so it deletes more than intended. I spend more time tryng to correct errors than actually typing. I went back to the keyboard that I was trying to replace. Their customer service is great though. Very eager to make the situation right. I'm not going to have them send me a third keyboard though. They seem to have a manufacturing problem. The second keyboard had all the problems the first had. I went out and got a THIRD keyboard from a different manufacturer.

The case is nice enough, but in my opinion has a couple of drawbacks which mean it isn't really suitable for me for the day to day rough and tumble in my bag. THE GOOD The keyboard is compact and seems to work perfectly. Connecting it to my Asus Zenpad was simple and the magnets hold in the case well. The backlight feature on the keyboard is easy to use and effective, without the lights being too intrusive in the dark. The clasps that hold the tablet in place are strong and effective The colour of the case I got (blue) is very pleasant It's lightweight THE BAD I researched the case on the manufacturers website and also watched product videos on YouTube before buying and each one showed the magnetic clasp tucked into a retaining flap to hold the cover closed tightly. The magnetic clasp on my case doesn't have a flap to tuck it into, so isn't very strong or effective at keeping the cover closed and in a fixed position. This is especially noticeable when the keyboard is not inserted. The case is described as being usable with or without the keyboard. However, when it's just the tablet in there, because the magnetic pad on the cover is set to a position which is suitable for the keyboard being included inside, the cover slides about, exposing a couple of centimetres of the screen when it's in my bag. Not ideal - see photos. A second magnet, positioned further away from the edge of the case would have given a close position suitable for the cover when it was just a tablet in the case. This is a design flaw. The kickstand is regulated by a piece of ribbon attached to the stand at one end and the case back at the other. Except, instead of being sewn into the backboard of the case, it's just sewn into the 'pleather', so when you extend the stand to it's fullest, the pleather 'tents' up. Just a little more pressure - say an accidental knock and the pleather would tear, rendering the stand useless and the case disfigured. I've tried to show this in the photos. Another design flaw that could have been easily overcome. I also get the feeling that a few scratches and the pleather will tear, so I'm not expecting this thing to give years of service. Overall it doesn't feel 'robust'. I think it's fine for light use, but I have just come from using a Kindle with a real leather case from Moko which survived nearly 4 years of abuse in my bag every day. Only very recently did it start to show signs of wear and tear and those were 'cosmetic' scuffs. That was priced around the same as this, so I was hoping for a similar level of quality. This case would not stand up to anything like that kind of use, so I've bought myself a cheapish trifold case and re-thought how I'm going to use this Cooper Case. The tablet will go in the trifold and sit where the keyboard should sit. The keyboard can be attached into the clasps where the tablet should go. That way the Cooper case is 'full' and performs more stably, the keyboard is secure, the screen on my tablet is protected and both can be transported together easily. Not ideal, but a compromise that looks like it might just work. The photos show the revised set up and obviously the trifold case was a separate purchase. On a positive note, the seller contacted me unprompted after delivery asking for feedback, so I gave some along exactly the same lines as I've written here. They responded almost instantly with a promise to take the feedback into consideration and an offer to have the case returned or a partial refund. As I had already used the case a couple of days and had disposed of the packing I opted for the partial refund which was issued immediately. The tone of their comms throughout was perfectly pitched.. This level of customer service was very welcome, so I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them, or use them again myself. Overall, would I buy an identical package again? No. I'd buy the keyboard on it's own in an instant though!
