I bought this case b/c I wanted something sturdy & not as expensive as the super pro, name branded iPad cases that totally protect too. Thus, kids cases are the same b/c come on children's hands are made for destruction...sometimes & the testing of these cases are made for nearly all drops that you would really wish your iPad had protection for. So I bought this case for my iPad Pro 12.9 in. Pros: + Keeps iPad safe & secure + in thee handle can put Apple pencil (it’s just a place to put the pencil in, not to charge it) (I have the Pencil 2 & it fits in the handle w/o anything on it, but w/ a silicone case on it, it’s more difficult to put it in that area) + has a space in the case to charge the Apple Pencil on the side (mines is #2) + handle can be bent to keep the iPad standing for watching & can use the bended handle as a writing angle (don’t know what angle degree) + the area around the screen is raised, so even if you drop the iPad faced down, the screen won’t get hit, damaged, or cracked. (Unless another object directly hits the screen as it falls or when it falls) Cons: - super secure it may be difficult to remove your iPad, if you ever do want to remove it from the case. (This can really be a pro as well in that it’s super secure & fitted) (I remove my iPad from this case b/c I switch it w/ the Smart Keyboard. However, I’ve gotten used to switching btwn both cases in the removal & transfer process.) following the instructions/technique on how to remove the iPad from the case really helps.

Do NOT buy if you have iPad pro 12.9 it will not standup ,it keeps falling over... We have to put something behind it in order to get it to stand.

for the most part this one is as good as the ones from prior generations of Ipads. The problem with this one is that the side opposite of the stand is a little flimsy and comes off a bit. Also, the stand upright is a little quirky and needs some pressing down to sit well standing. Overall it's a good case for kids and holds up well over time.

I didn’t see instructions on how to insert it, took a while but these types of cases are my favorite. This one is nice since it has a pace for a stylus in the back.
