“I looked at so many types of "lap desks" to help lift up my iPad so I wouldn't get the neck strain that causes my migraines. This one was expensive, but it was the only one that had all of the features I wanted:-Tilt options-15" adjustable legs -Tablet "slot" that was wide enough for my 2018 iPad Pro (although I use the bookstand instead--another bonus) -No stationary lip or stopper at the bottom that would interfere with drawing-Positive reviews (of course!) Bonuses that I'm very thankful for:-Soft-touch "leather" patterned surface that provides enough friction to keep paper or a drink from sliding, but no "sticky" feel-Solid, quality build and feel of legs and tilt mechanisms-Tilt and extension features are independent on each side, so you can adjust for an uneven surface-Removable book stand that can be used seperately (although it feels flimsy)-Drawer (pretty spacious and never opens when I'm carrying around)-Sleigh feet--never get caught on blankets, carpet, etc.Cons:-It's heavy and cumbersome to carry around. A built-in handle would have helped.-Flipside of the sturdy build is that it takes some effort to open the legs (That's what she said...). This isn't necessarily a negative, but it would be difficult for someone with limited strength, carpal tunnel, etc.-Flimsy book stand feels like I might snap the plastic if I'm not careful putting it into the tablet slot.-For the price and weight, it would be nice to have a removable cup holderOverall I'm very happy with it, and it's gotten a lot of use by the whole family for a variety of activities.”

“I must admit that I wasn't sure that I would love this desk. I was pleasantly surprised when I got it in the mail. I am a plus size girl and wanted a desk that I could fit under. I am so glad spent my money on this desk. The book holder comes in handy when I am typing up reports and it fits back neatly under my desk when I am done with it. I keep usbs in the drawer and I like that after I am done with my desk I can collapse it and put it away. I would buy this for anyone looking for a laptop desk especially if you are a plus size person.”

“Bought this for my girlfriend since she's a teacher and most weekends when she comes over needs to work. She sets it up on my bed while we watch TV as she works. Works great, its nice and sturdy and has helped with her back pain previously from having to lean over to work. Perfect height and the tilt function makes it very comfortable to use. Not quite big enough to use for her laptop and book but she just ends up setting her books on the bed next to it. Folds up easy for storage when not in use. Been using for a couple months now without any issues”

“The lap desk is sturdy and well made with features to complement it use: a small drawer, pen/pencil slot, book rack and block insert to prevent laptop from slipping when desk top is inclined. It has ample desk area. My only complaint is that it is too heavy to manage easily and sits slightly higher than is comfortable to type on the computer.”
