I was looking at another similar organizer before I came across this one. I wasn't sure it would work for me, but it turns out to be MUCH better than the original one I had my eye on! I like to use the small pads of paper frequently for taking notes, so that was necessary. With this portfolio, you don't have to use a tablet with it. You can put a pad of paper where the tablet would be AND another pad on the other side, if you wanted to. It's pretty versatile. It has a handle that I use to actually hold the organizer while I am writing on the pad, so while I originally that that was a useless feature, I do like it and use it. I do have a fire tablet and it fits inside nicely. There is a spot for everything and even a zipper on the outside. This really worked out much better than I ever imagined it would. 10 stars for a well designed item!

This just wasn't for me as I could not attach it to my dash while driving, but other than that it was perfect. Sturdy, easy to hold, the notepad was handy & pockets to keep cards and cash in.

First thoughts:ProsI can hold it in one hand using the rear hand strap and operate my tablet like I’m thumbing through a book.Lots of internal slots and pockets for storage of cards and accessories.Flexible stretch mount to accommodate a few different sized devices.ConsA little dated in concept but very useful (I got this specifically because of the hand strap). It may look like a Filofax of the 80s with all the slots and memo pad, but this is a useful bit of organisational kit that gives a bit more versatility than the more common tablet sleeve or bumper. It’s unlikely that I’d put credit cards in it, but this works perfectly for my drone flight operations information, registration, ID and have a one-handed grip on my tablet.I can have my flight plans and software to hand, and have it opened up like a book while checking flight data or inputting information. It holds steady by placing my hand through the strap on the rear and having the spine lay through my palm.Details and things to note (See pictures):Zip portfolio case with central divider. The case is split up into useful sections including a mount for a tablet up to around 8”, card and document slots, a windowed slot for ID, pouch for a small device or mobile phone and some elastic loops for clipping items in or under.A memo pad has been included for making notes. The covers and divider has a rigid construction to provide shape and some protection to the contents should it be dropped. I wouldn’t class it as being designed to be impact resistant though.Final thoughts:A useful bit of kit for me when windy conditions make a paper based system inconvenient. I can have my flight apps, ID, licence and registration cards all in one folder, ready for pre-flight checks and flight reports.I’d be happy to recommend it if you’re looking to consolidate multiple storage items for small cards and accessories.
