“First Impressions: (P4) – the unboxing experience is very luxurious, providing a sleek professional upscale box with a “magnetic” opening to greet you to the product. Fancy. Is it cost-effective? I ponder if a more aggressive price point could be achieved with less revenue being spent on such fancy packaging. Classic. Initial Look: (P3) – I compared this case to a similar OEM, and the quality is on par which was satisfying to see with minor differences in design (metal buttons on side). Design: The design was just what I desired in my clip-on leather case. Another OEM (P5) had a full wrap around case which I did not prefer. The style preference for this style of case is (P1) with the bottom open – still secure, allows easier removal of case and you can see some of your phone color. Wireless Charging: Should not have issues, I use this case with a Magsafe like alternative with Yootech – the connection was not strong enough to hold the phone in the air and must lay flat if you want to charge with case on – with the case off, the magnet is strong enough to hold the device and not fall. I presume the Apple cases are designed with Magsafe in mind so that area of the case was designed to still provide the strongest magnetic connection thus it can hold a device with our without – its no big deal because the device should be lying flat when charging wireless anyways – the magnetic draw is there but not as strong as I would have liked. Recommendations: The leather over the buttons is too mushy (P2)– metal buttons would provide a more tactile feel. Metal buttons would give more confidence when a button is depressed, because at first, I had to keep hitting the power button to get it to respond. Overall the feel and design of the case is just what I needed, the minor opportunities I can live with, unless you add metal buttons, send me that version and I send this one back – lol.”
