“I have a 4yr old son with autism who has also been blessed with the strength of superman. Im not kidding here people, I watched this boy tear his "Lifeproof" case in half like it was a piece of paper when he was just 3 yrs old....I know, I was concerned too. We them had the iGuy by Speck (I think?) which worked well for a while, the handles made is very easy for him to hold, which was great. But of course, because he always held it by one of the handles as he walked around with it, overtime the handles started to wear out get looser which he loved cuz now he could swing it around like a damn nunchuck causing further wear (and probably a few injuries to himself and others). So I went on a search for a durable shock absorbant case with a different kind of handle so it was still easy for him to hold without being a possible weapon in the future. I think its important to add that this case doesn't come with a plastic cover that goes over the screen, which I actually prefer for 2 reasons. The main reason is that I swear by the tempered glass screen protectors because they are designed to the force of an impact to the screen causing the screen protector to break leaving your actual screen intact. The second reason is that a plastic cover over the screen is harder for my son to use because it obviously interferes with the touch sensitivity. But if you would prefer a case that has a cover over the screen I know the make cases very similar to this one that include a hard plastic cover for the screen. All in all, I love this case. It has successfully protected both my son & daughters ipads (I got the same case for my 10 yr old daughter because she liked it), which is no easy feat when your son is Superman ; )”
