“The quality of the knob itself is pretty well made. It’s a solid piece and fits well in your hand and would definitely be an upgrade from the stock shift knob if it fit correctly. The threading inside of the knob is drilled pretty deep and causes it to sit much lower on the shifter than the stock knob which ends up scrunching the shift boot down to the point where you almost can’t even put the truck in drive. On top of that, the knob doesn’t have any connection point to actually connect the boot with the knob like you’d find with the stock shift knob. The knob itself is pretty sweet but definitely not made for the Tacoma. :)”
