“All the hardware and instructions were great, the rivet gun never made it past rivet number 4! My neighbor lent his, and I was able to finish the job myself. The housing and handles bent, rather then finish the rivets.”
“Product came as shown and the instructions along with the YouTube video was clear to understand. However, I ran into some issues using the rivet gun I purchased with this kit. Perhaps I just got a faulty one, but it did not cut the rivets. Just stripped and bent them. I had to go to Home Depot and purchase a better rivet gun and replacements rivets. The one provided and stripped and bent the rivets so bad that the new gun was only able to snap the rivets in half. I ended up being able to remove one set all together but the other side I had to cut the rivets with a pliers. Leaving a not so clean finish. I recommend a higher quality rivet gun and perhaps two additional rivets, and some instructions on how to remove them if you make a mistake. It works great and I’m happy with the functionality and look, would have gone perfectlY had the rivet gun worked. Will continue to shop here… truly love the channel and the products offered on the site.”
