“Not too terrible of an install, was quite simple to follow the directions. Everything would have turned out perfect… if I still had the stock intake installed. When I went to close the hood all the way for the first time with the new hood struts, I heard a loud noise, I pulled the hood back up and the strut came off the mount and lodged itself beneath the washer fluid reservoir. I had to yank the strut out (which severely scratched the paint) and take it off completely because it apparently does not fit with an aftermarket Injen Evolution cold air intake. I was not notified of this when I bought the struts so I didn’t think anything of it. So do note to anyone buying the max lift edition hood struts, that they do not fit with an injen evolution intake.”
