“After waiting far too long (six months, due to manufacturing complications) I finally received my Trailgate, not the options I chose, but close enough! It seems well-made and durable, although time will tell. I was a little disappointed in the cup holders though, I'd recommend opting out of that option. Overall though, it's a bit overpriced for what it is. I hate to say it because I like the company a lot and would definitely go back for more/other products and I usually don't leave bad reviews as I'm not hard to please, but this just wasn't what it was cracked up to be. 4 out of 5 still ain't bad though!”
“This Trailgate is so much superior for actual use than the original rigid plastic tailgate panel! The original was designed purely for rigidity, but was extremely uncomfortable if you used your knee like I often do, to climb into the bed of the truck. Another issue with the original tailgate is that normal-sized cups and mugs tend to fall over, making it very difficult to use the tailgate as a pseudo-table. The Trailgate is flat with a nice texture, not slippery, while not abrasive. There are 2 cup holders built-in to the Trailgate at opposite ends of it.
Installation was a breeze. Remove the "dozen-ish" screws, remove the original tailgate inside panel, slide the top of the Trailgate in under the plastic edge protector, then center the Trailgate over the screw holes and put the screws back in. Installation took maybe 10 minutes...”
