“These lights are awesome. Took some work to figure out how to make the dance feature work. I wish there was a video to walk through that step by step as the only thing I could find was an install video of other headlights and on YouTube I was able to find these specific ones, but that one showed spicing and what not and I didn’t want to do any of that. So I was able to figure out how to make it happen without any splicing. So really wish there was a video on that step by step so that it makes it easier to install and not have to worry about making any mistakes. Not sure why the one I found the guy wanted to do all that splicing cause it really was not necessary, mine work how they should and it’s the same truck in the YouTube video. So tacomabeast please make a video on specifically these type of headlights that require a little more work to get all the features in them, they’re expensive so getting all the moneys worth is necessary. If you can get the light dance feature to work and everything working as it should, I promise these are definitely worth the price!”
“Just what I wanted, replacement headlights that didn’t require additional wiring. Fit my TRD Off Road perfect. I broke the first two clips on both fender flares gaining access to the bolt behind the bumper, but my local dealer had them in stock for a few bucks a piece. If you’re just a little patient, you won’t have any troubles.”
“I have the base model SR 2022 Taco and man oh man it makes my car look very aggressive and new. The installation was pretty straight forward, there was no wire splitting for the SR model and all you had to do was put the add a fuse into the fuse box and connect all the wires, including an extra red wire into the battery and the black wire into a source that can ground the black wire. easy set up really. I put the add a fuse into the INJ fuse and its been about 2 weeks now since i got it. Nothing has happened and the start up light sequence works flawlessly. just keep in mind that when you connect the add a fuse into the INJ slot of the fuse box, the DRL will automatically turn on whenever you turn on the car. You don't have to switch on drl on the steering wheel. but if you did switch it to DRL on the steering wheel. The DRL will turn amber instead of white. Depending on your preference its completely up to you. I'm glad that i can switch to amber DRL or stay with the white DRLS. I'm not sure if this is a concern to anyone but also keep in mind that the DRLS will be running all the time whenever your turn on your car. there isn't a way to shut it off on the SR Model. its not a big deal to me and im not too concerned about it, id rather have my DRL run all the time anyways for safety and visual appearance. Thank you Tacomabeast for sharing the installation online on their website. i've never worked on a car before let alone done an oil change myself. If my noob a** can do it. Anybody can do it, so long as you follow directions and learn from others. I would highly recommend anyone who owns a 3rd gen Tacoma that doesn't like the stock chrome lights and purchase these lights. They definitely make your truck stand out. I'm hoping that these lights will last a long time because these lights are about 1k lol, it would be a bummer if I had to repurchase these again in a year or two lol.”
