“This battery tray is built like a tank. At first, when I received it, I thought something else was in the packaging as it was heavier than originally thought. However, that weight gives way to a truly well-built battery tray. It fits my group 31 AMG Deep cycle yellow top with no issues and looks amazing.”
“The battery holder is built well. But some J-Hook adapters do have to be hacksawed some to cut off excess. The wing -nuts will not clear the Top Battery Plate , so you use the 10mm nuts. Which means you need a deep well socket or snail pace with a wrench. When you remove the OEM Battery tray, there will be some rust , so I would paint that section as I did. So have some black paint around. It's not as fast a job as you would think. But I do like it. It's solid and CUSTOM !”
“I love CBI products ! You can see they take pride in thier workmanship ! The battery tray was easy to install , and I was able to install a Northstar X2 group 31 battery in my truck . It looks great and is rock solid . Wish I could include a picture. You will need to buy a couple of longer J bolts , but they are only a few bucks at the auto stores .”
