“Simple to install. Remove main taillight plug and insert into the LUXX, done. The most difficult part of install was removing the plastic off of the lens.”

“I have a 2007 Tacoma X-Runner , and have started giving it a complete facelift. Low miles still, I had already put a LED set of taillights in it (ACPW) , and was really questioning whether it was money well spent to buy more Taillights. So I sprung for the Toyota Tacoma LUXX-series LED tail lights (Alpha Black ) . These Lamps are in a entirely different League from what I had in there . They snapped in much easier and tighter , than the aftermarket LEDs I bought. And the difference in the Stop Lamp, Signals, Reverse , is probably 80% more attention getting, with sequential action. Also TACOMABEAST sent them much sooner than I was informed that they would deliver ! They changed entirely the Tacoma rear end appearance . * Note: To Alpha Luxx , I would include the Taillight Attachment Grommets for a clean , tight, secure fit. Because after you pop out the OEM Lamps, the Grommets loose a lot of the holding power. I anticipated this from prior install, and bought a 6 pack of them. Total $17.00 , you will need (4) total . 2 each Lamp. By leaving the old Grommets in there is not a great choice on $400 Taillights. I had rust inside mine and buggered up . This way they will SNAP, or POP in precisely . I'd give 4 stars for this neglect, but if you already have them, it doesn't pose a delay on your Install or doing a half-ass job with the originals. They are quality built with sealed backs.”
