“This shift knob looks and feels absolutely amazing. However, on an 2021 Tacoma, installation is not straightforward. Due to the thick stock chrome collar and the length of this new grip, I had to alter the collar by cutting the bottom half off in order for the new grip to fit and still be able to change gears. If you don’t mind a little extra work, this grip is awesome!”
“over all I love this shifter grip. my only issue is not with the grip it's self but the boot. the collar on the boot gets caught against the housing and makes it difficult to make the first move into reverse. I have to slam it or unscrew the shift grip to get into Reverse. I wish there was a kit available to take the boot off and replace it with the same gear plate the 4runners have.”

“I’ve been looking at this shift knob for some time time but never purchased it because the cost. Well finally I decided to give in and purchase one, and I’m glad I did! It fits snug so no worries about it spinning or coming loose. Also no worries about your hand slipping either due to the grip from the rubber handle. And it also looks dope in the second generation Tacoma’s. Especially with the aftermarket climate knobs Also purchased from TCMABST! I ordered the red grip with the black rings for the shift and the red climate knobs with the black screws, and it looks pretty rad!”
