“Got the mk3 when it first came out. Was firing fine at first.
One day went to fire it and after a couple shots it wouldn't fire as If the battery was flat which was weird because it was almost fully charged, pulled the stock off, battery was sparking and getting hot.
Could have been user error (but I'm doubtful seeing as I've done nothing different with the new battery and haven't had a problem) could have been a dodgy battery, could have been something else.
Took it to a local shop (no tac toys in my area and had run out of waranty) to get the wiring replaced (melted when the battery got hot) and to check nothing else was wrong with it.
When I picked it up they said it was "poorly put together and had a few things just floating around inside, which is weird because tac toys is usually a really good company, but when things are mass produced you get a dud every now and then."
The only other problem I have is the mag, it just feels more flimsy than the normal M4 mag. It also makes a different noise when priming the two mag's.”
