Beyond grateful to have made this purchase to sleep train our 2nd baby at 6 months. It was a very thorough program with lots of great information delivered from Cara in a compassionate and understanding way. I will always recommend taking cara babies to new parents, it has made bed time and naps sweet instead of dreadful!

We originally purchased the Taking Care of Babies newborn bundle. We implemented everything we learned in that class and had a great sleeper (both naps and nights) until around 18 months old. After countless sleepless nights - and our normal tricks not working - we decided to purchase the 5 - 24M course to get back on track. After two nights, we were back on track and had the tools to keep it that way.

Walks you through every single step of getting baby to sleep and nap great and get back on track when things get tough. I refer back to it just about every month. We have an amazing sleeper and it's all because of Cara and her 5-24 months collection!

This program saved my life and my sanity. My son woke up every 1.5-2 hours until he was 5 months. We started this program and within a week he was sleeping through the night. Even hitting bumps in the road like sickness, teething and regressions, he is now able to get back on track easily. I could not say enough positive things about the TCB classes!

Didn’t work for me and I wasn’t able to get a refund. Wanted to love this course as I’ve seen moms raving about it on social media and I had a babe that was difficult to put to sleep and keep asleep. Prior to purchasing the course I emailed them asking if it was alright that my son was older (17 mo at the time), was still breastfeeding, and we were cosleeping. They said all of these were a non issue and as long as my son wasn’t 24 months yet he would be able to be sleep trained. I also mentioned to them that we are cosleeping in my bed (a regular queen sized bed) and they said that as long as I have a pack n play or a Montessori floor bed, it would be okay. Since my son already climbs out do the pack n play I decided to go out and purchase a toddler bed, railing, bedding, etc. to make a Montessori styled bedroom. I also had to move all the “unsafe” things out of his room (ie his play table, a dresser that was in my sons room before he was born, and other furniture items he could climb). This was not only time consuming, but an expense as toddler mattresses are not cheap. So I paid $250 for the course, then an additional $300 ($200 for toddler bed, $50 for rail, $50 for bedding, pillows, and blankets). We began sleep training, I followed it to a tee. Took a bunch of notes to ensure I was doing it correctly. I implemented everything myself being the main caregiver and to ensure there was consistency throughout the process. My son was crying the entire duration of the period before checking in. This occurred for over a week, it was brutal. I emailed the consultants again explaining everything from having to create a Montessori bedroom as well as the process. They said to shorten the durations and to book a phone call that’s $70 per hour. After paying all this money for the course, buying the items needed to create a safe space for my toddler to sleep, and now they’re telling me to purchase more things. Needless to say, it didn’t work for us. I think that what they charge is pretty ridiculous for a very distant approach on their end. There is no sleep consultant that checks in on you, alters things as necessary, etc. Basically, you pay for the course and you’re on your own. I of course requested a refund but I was past their grace period so even with all the back and forth emails of my concerns and issues, they refused. In addition, every single time I emailed I had to re-explain everything I told the person prior because a different person responded every time. As a first time mom utilizing sleep training for the first time, I’d go with a company that has one sleep consultant assigned to you and works with your family through the inevitable issues you’ll have. This machine- like distant approach this company is using may work for some families and kids, but every single family and child is different. And if you are one of these families that faces any issues, you’ll have to continue spending $70 per phone call for any type of real help.

This course answered pretty much every question I had about getting nighttime sleep and solid naps! The info about nap transitions was particularly helpful. I sing Cara’s praises to everyone I know with young kids!

Life changing! My baby would not fall asleep independently, and he woke up a lot throughout the night. It was affecting my mental health. He now falls asleep independently without tears! We are much happier parents with a very happy baby. Thank you so much!!
