“This course was so very helpful! In a matter of days, we went from our baby waking up every 1.5-2 hours to sleeping through the night! Through sickness, teething, travel and regressions, I feel confident in how to support him and still help us all get the sleep we need. I'm able to be flexible with bedtime and naps when needed because I know that we have a strong foundation to fall back on. This has been so freeing and life giving! Before taking this course, I was struggling big time with not getting enough sleep and it was impacting every part of my life. This course gave me back my sanity and helps me to be a better mother, wife and person in general. I highly recommend it to any new parent!”
“Hands down one of the very best decisions I’ve made! Sounds dramatic, but after months of never sleeping more than a couple hours at a time, it’s true. I started sleep training my little boy a week or two before he turned 5 months. (He’s 9 months now.)
Before then, he’d wake up every couple hours throughout the night, every night, and he’d need me to feed him to get him back to sleep, and then hold him until he was in a deep sleep. And his naps were really tough, too. It would take me 20 minutes to get him to fall asleep and stay asleep, but then he’d often only sleep for like 30 minutes and he’d wake up! I was exhausted, I could never get anything done, and my baby was not getting enough sleep or good quality sleep.
I was SURE he’d scream for hours when I started sleep training, but he didn’t! The first couple times, he did cry for maybe 20-30 minutes (with me coming in at the appropriate times). But after only a few times, he would just lay there and go to sleep! It was like a miracle! It took a few nights to wean him off of night feeds and since then, I never get up in the night!
Now he sleeps about 11 hours each night (without me ever going in to him). And his naps are way better. The key is that I don’t have to “get” him to sleep. I just put him in his crib and he gets himself to sleep. So if he wakes up from his nap after 45 minutes, he might move around or even cry for a minute or two, but then he almost always just falls back to sleep.
I’m completely confused why someone would choose to not sleep train. Besides being amazing for me, it’s so good for my baby because he sleeps so much more now. And all that consolidated sleep is so good for his brain and his learning.
If you’re unsure, just do it! Yes, your baby may cry a little, but babies cry all the time. Even now at 9 months old, he will often cry when I leave his room at nap time because he doesn’t want to miss out on all the fun. (We say he has FOMO. Haha.) But he very rarely cries for more than 30 seconds. To me his cry is saying “Mom, don’t leave me. I want to keep playing.” But he needs to sleep, so I leave him. He almost immediately relaxes and then soon falls asleep. He really loves sleeping, even if he won’t admit it. ;)
And remember, babies cry all the time. Of course it doesn’t mean we’re bad parents if our baby cries! Lately mine screams like I’m torturing him whenever I make him lay flat so I can change his diaper, which is several times a day. (He wants to flip around, sit up, start crawling on the changing table, explore the diaper caddy, etc…) I don’t like that he’s sad, but changing his diaper is what is best for him. And sleep is one of the most important things we can give our babies, so a few tears is okay! Give your baby the gift of sleep!!”
“I think the class is good for people who haven’t taken your previous classes. I have therefore I feel like the money was A LOT to teach me a lot of stuff that I already was doing. A bit upset about the price”

“I cannot believe what a difference taking this course and applying these methods made to our nighttime routine and my daughter's sleep habits. I used to be the mom that dreaded bedtime, it took over an hour most nights and usually ended with tears from both of us! I wish we had done this sooner, and I was skeptical that it would work when we didn't start until she was almost two years old, but the first night we used some of these tools - she slept for twelve hours, in her own crib, all night long. I couldn't believe it. I recommend this course to all of my friends and family who have little ones or are expecting. The tools are so simple to apply, I can't thank the Taking Cara Babies team enough for their assistance!”
“My twins were sleeping horribly - waking up at least 5 times a night (and that was a good night!) and would only fall back asleep with us present and active in some way or another... 2-3 weeks in my girls were sleeping the night! I did the customized interventions so it took a drop longer, but they were sleeping the night. After a year of no sleep I finally got an entire 9 hours of sleep! My girls have been sick with 500 different things in the past month, so they woke up a lot not feeling well, and I was so nervous that I would be waking up 5 times or more during the night again, but as soon as they felt better, they started sleeping the night again. It's been life changing, I feel like I'm happier with my kids and I enjoy my time with them so much more because I'm well rested and not thinking about how tired I am. Seriously - life-changing!”
“Our family says we should be the poster family for this program, because it seriously works!!
Our little guy was never a great sleeper and we were seriously struggling to get him converted to his crib to sleep. So, after multiple friends recommended this program we sat down for an evening, watched all the videos, & in 2 weeks our guy was sleeping 10hrs straight through the night! And within a month 12hrs straight! Everyone comments how happy our little guy is & how lucky we are to have all the available time in the evening & mornings while he’s sleeping.
Thank you so much!”
