Easy install. Working flawlessly, even in -10 degree temperatures. Only 3 months old, we’ll see after a year.

Purchased this unit for my folks house in New Mexico @ 4375’ el. The altitude correction on the main board is exactly what was needed and few others provided. Next item was installation on west outside wall, the old Bosch unit never could operate consistently with the wind. This unit has no problems in the wind. The cabinet heater now means my father won’t have to worry about his piping freezing on cold winter nights.

This is our second Rheem tankless water heater, and we love it. The issue I have is that it’s rated to 30 below and during the winter storm URI, our temp got down to 2 below and the fitting between the incoming water hose and the interior of the tank busted, rendering the water heater useless. We purchased a new one, but the first one was only a year old.

The unit is freeze protected down to -30 degrees, but it has have to power for the freeze protection to activate. The issue in Texas was not the temperature it was that your power providers do not winterize their system and you all lost power for long periods of time during those freezing temperature, and you got no warning, so you you did not drain your system, so the water in the pipes froze and burst. This is not something that any water heater could have prevented, as it was without power. I am sorry for what happened to you, and everyone in Texas, but it was not the fault of the water heater, it is the power companies and laws of Texas that do not require them to winterize their systems and keep Texas off the federal grid.

I love this water heater! I went from 10 minutes of warm water to as much hot water as i want. I have noticed no temperature differences when someone uses a sink or a toilet gets flushed. Have recommended to several people. No issues yet, hardly uses any propane. Definitely recommend if you are looking to go tankless.

Used for are barn was bay. Horse owners spend the little extra cash and buy a heater that you can count on. Those small rigs offered for sale are ok, but honestly when washing down more ths 2
