“Just purchased in April, won't charge. I've tried multiple different chargers and left it on over night but nothing works. I'm bummed since I can't return or exchange at this point.”

We're sorry to hear that you are experiencing trouble charging your StrikeLight 2. We encourage users to charge the device using a standard charging brick and the USB-C cable that came included with the device. If it needs to be recharged, you can determine so based on the color of the LED light on the Flashlight Button.

“The TASER StrikeLight 2 product is A+++ But Their Recharge Instructions Are Incomplete & in my opinion were written by someone with serious reading comprehension problems. To begin with there is No Recharger included but they don't say that anywhere as far as I know. They use the term "Find charger" meaning I'm guessing you have to buy a charger that fits your cable! Brilliant! Someone who passed High School would use the 3 words "NO Charger Included" in the instructions & Product Description but not Taser. They do however supply you with a cable that you are supposed to attach to the charger when you "find it". As far as I can tell though, you apparently can attach the cable to a USB Port (like your computer or a power strip) without the Charger & it will charge. Whether that's as fast as the cable attached to the charger I don't know as the Instructions say nothing whatsoever about using the cable without a charger. How does a multimillion to Billion dollar company not bother to tell anyone this. Oh yes, even with a charger they don't tell you how long you should charge. The only way you'll actually know it's charging is if your flashlight doesn't turn on & you turn your room lights off to see if the power indicator is glowing! They don' tell you that either. The instructions conveniently do not include a phone number to contact someone for help. Ain't life grand. Well I hope this helps before you waste several hours in frustration like me. Oh PS. I found I can use my Android Charger to attach to the Flashlight & that will recharge it. Hopefully that won't damage the Light. Please do not take what I've done as Gospel, I can't guarantee this is safe. Call Taser (You'll have to look their number up) to figure out how to recharge properly. Based on my personal experience if you make it past their idiotic phone options you'll get a recording that says "Due to the overwhelming amount of calls Yada Yada Yada" you'll leave your name & phone number & they won't get back to you in timely manner or won't get back to you at all. Unbelievable Again the Product is great but the experience in dealing with Taser/Axon & their instructions are not!”

“Purchased for my daughter for protection last July. Just stopped working. Never actually used beyond the flashlight. Might as well buy the cheapest option. You aren't getting anything of value with the name'Taser'.”
“I feel safer having this with me, especially when I'm with my babies. I've played with it a few times to make sure that I can't accidentally turn on the taser. Thankfully there is a “safety†where you need to hold down one button and another button for it to turn on. Only downfall is that it is pretty heavy for my purse.”
