“Bought this as a gift for my wife when she walks the dog at night. Used the flashlight function every night since purchase. We have never dropped the light. Tonight when we were walking I asked if she had it down on how to use. My wife flipped the switch to use the taser and pressed it. Nothing but a slight arc and intense burning smell. Thought it might be low on charge. Tried later and same small arc flash and slight smoke. Was originally excited about light but now less confident. Will start return.”
“Not only is the Taser the best out there, the flashlight is very well made with a red light, a medium brightness cool white light and an extremely bright high beam.The flashlight is pretty much a flood beam but on the brightest setting it has a nice spot in the center of the flood. It is plenty bright enough to temporarily blind anassailant in darkness. The battery, I was most impressed with! I fully charged it with a USB -C cord overnight and the next night put the light on its brightest setting. It took over 4 hrs to fully discharge the battery while having to turn the flashlight back on several times because of an auto shut off feature after a fairly long period of time.The light did not get hot to touch during the whole time discharging the battery. The Taser continued to work and l believe maintained its strength throughout my discharging of the battery. It does have a battery level light going from green fully charged to amber to red for low battery.I had been looking for a high quality taser for sometime and have bought just about all of them I have seen that looked like quality products. Several with flashlights combos.This is really the only one I have purchased that is truly high quality and above and beyond my expectations! Now, it is very expensive for such a product but to me very well worth it. I will be purchasing more for ones in my family. Good temporary protection from unruly animals to unruly people and a great companion to a Glock!”
“This is a very powerful flash light the beam actually messes with your eyes at 12pm. At about 15 ft, Unbelievable. I wish it had the strobe light function. The red light is perfect at night. And I'm sure the stunning power is great too have not tested that out. And finally the light button does sometimes turns on when it comes in contact with an object inside of a back pack or pocket wish that wasn't a concern.”
“I've never owned one before nor have I used this for its intended purpose, that being said; this one seems good. It's solid but lightweight, the instructions are clear and the flashlight is bright. Happy with purchase. If I ever use it I'll update my review.”
“I don't know if the product was any good. It got left at the airport. It turns out, the battery has to be taken out, the whole piece can't be taken together. The piece itself can be packed with the checked in luggage without the battery, the battery by itself can be carried in the carry on bag. I wish the company put it in the instructions how to get the battery out but a lot of people at the airports tried and nobody could figure it out, couldn't find it in the instructions either. Sooo angry about it!”
