About Tea Life:

Hello! My name's Toby and while I've always been a tea lover, I never really thought about the benefits and healing powers of herbal tea before a certain time in my life where I was going through some stress and anxiety.
This is a short story about my tea life.

I came across Valerian root tea and noticed one of the benefits listed was 'helping stress and anxiety' so I thought why not? It actually did help, and became my first go to solution for when I was feeling stressed.

Since then I have had to go back to that single shop to order it, as it's difficult to find. Sometimes it was sold out, sometimes I was too busy to make the trip, but overall I was just thinking 'why isn't this awesome drink more readily available'?

So I decided to do something about that. I researched the benefits of other herbal tea, as I was curious to see what else was out there and was astonished to learn just how useful and powerful they are. Over time, I realised they really are natures medicine.

This website has been designed to educate, and provide easy access across Australia to a huge range of Organic Herbal tea, free of pesticides and other impurities.

Apart from herbal tea, I have also stocked the best chai, exotic, and other health related blends I could find within Australia. If it's fresh, interesting and tastes great - I'll get it in.

Feel free to contact me at any time with any questions or feedback you may have. I'd love to hear from you.

Thanks Christine, it's a great tea that can be tricky to get just right with the steeping times but definitely worth trying!

My first taste of this tea I noticed it was very light even after steeping for 7 minutes. I read on the internet about crushing up the tea to release more flavour so I did this with my hands while it was still in the packet. The next tea I made was much better in flavour. It still is very pale in colour when you add milk. I am unsure if this is what it is supposed to look like? Normal tea goes a brown color even with milk added so I was expecting the same thing to happen with this tea but when I add milk it is more white than brown.

Hi Justine, thanks for your feedback on this tea! Many apologies if there was any confusion on the brewing methods and time for this tea. It's not that easy to infuse with water and does need a bit of a longer steeping time/or crushing them up to help with that as this is essentially the shell of the chocolate bean and not a processed chocolate that will dissolve easily. The taste, while still chocolate, is different in my opinion to what you'd normally experience with a chocolate flavour which is why we like having this unique tea up on Tea Life for something different.

If you’re a dark chocolate fan like me then this is a must try! I got exactly what I was hoping for. It felt like eating a nice dark chocolate bar but only in a fresh, liquid form. :) I recommend it.

Hi Emily, It is a different experience to chocolate that I'd strongly recommend if you're a choco-fan. For me it kind of tastes like going back to the origins of chocolate without all of the sugar and preservatives!
