About Tea Life:

Hello! My name's Toby and while I've always been a tea lover, I never really thought about the benefits and healing powers of herbal tea before a certain time in my life where I was going through some stress and anxiety.
This is a short story about my tea life.

I came across Valerian root tea and noticed one of the benefits listed was 'helping stress and anxiety' so I thought why not? It actually did help, and became my first go to solution for when I was feeling stressed.

Since then I have had to go back to that single shop to order it, as it's difficult to find. Sometimes it was sold out, sometimes I was too busy to make the trip, but overall I was just thinking 'why isn't this awesome drink more readily available'?

So I decided to do something about that. I researched the benefits of other herbal tea, as I was curious to see what else was out there and was astonished to learn just how useful and powerful they are. Over time, I realised they really are natures medicine.

This website has been designed to educate, and provide easy access across Australia to a huge range of Organic Herbal tea, free of pesticides and other impurities.

Apart from herbal tea, I have also stocked the best chai, exotic, and other health related blends I could find within Australia. If it's fresh, interesting and tastes great - I'll get it in.

“Although I expected local delivery to be within 3 days, it took a while (there was no tracking provided). The Tea is fragrant, though a little sour in taste. Took a bit of getting used to. Instructions say "a whole flower", which I did not understand. Assumed each piece was a "petal" and put in like a good 8 or 10 pieces (for 1 pot)! Realised it was too much! Ended up using that pot as a concentrate, and diluting it by each cup I pour. Instructions could have been clearer. As the Tea was 'red' (I didn't know it was going to be red), it stained my kitchen counter top, when I accidentally spilled some. Bought it in the hope of reducing my Diastolic. It did not quite. Ended up with it counter acting with my Diuretics. I suppose will serve that to friends who are not on medication. Packaging was pretty, and as the other pack was for a friend, it works well. As I had based my selection on research, I feel I would do better to base my purchase on descriptions of the offering on Tea Life's website, which I would do on my next purchase. So yes, I will buy from them again, but hope they improve on the 2 points I have highlighted.”

Hi Amanda, thank you for your review! With $2 shipping, this is the cheapest option available within Australia so there's only stamps used without tracking. 3 days is for the $5.95 option with tracking. For the most part the $2 shipping works for us and is great for people that only wish to order 40-80g of tea as we don't believe people should need to pay much for shipping in this case. Within Australia the tracking options are always a bit dearer, but faster. HIbiscus is a little difficult to provide instruction for as the flowers are always different size - but in general only a small amount is needed really as it's quite strong. Perhaps only enough to cover the face of a 50c coin would be a good judge? Sorry for any miscommunications in regards to shipping and if you have any questions at any time please let me know!

“Really great flavour, the smell of the tea is a little bit musky, but the taste of the tea is totally different, a little tangy and a little sweet, similar taste to cranberry juice but just toned down a bit and far less sweet. The colour of the tea is also amazing, quite a vibrant red, it just looks like it's good for you and your blood, whilst being delicious! Definitely worth trying for yourself.”
