About Tea Life:

Hello! My name's Toby and while I've always been a tea lover, I never really thought about the benefits and healing powers of herbal tea before a certain time in my life where I was going through some stress and anxiety.
This is a short story about my tea life.

I came across Valerian root tea and noticed one of the benefits listed was 'helping stress and anxiety' so I thought why not? It actually did help, and became my first go to solution for when I was feeling stressed.

Since then I have had to go back to that single shop to order it, as it's difficult to find. Sometimes it was sold out, sometimes I was too busy to make the trip, but overall I was just thinking 'why isn't this awesome drink more readily available'?

So I decided to do something about that. I researched the benefits of other herbal tea, as I was curious to see what else was out there and was astonished to learn just how useful and powerful they are. Over time, I realised they really are natures medicine.

This website has been designed to educate, and provide easy access across Australia to a huge range of Organic Herbal tea, free of pesticides and other impurities.

Apart from herbal tea, I have also stocked the best chai, exotic, and other health related blends I could find within Australia. If it's fresh, interesting and tastes great - I'll get it in.

“I was so thrilled to find this lovely website but unfortunately the flavor of my lemon verbena is hardly felt and pretty vauge, I have dried this plant for tea myself for years and always had a strong lemony flavor. This tea felt like it's either been sitting for a long time, or the dehydration process took out all the aroma :(”

“I create and host literary parties each year; this year’s parties have the theme “ Floral Oracles:The Language of Flowers in Literature and Art”. I spend a year working on gorgeous food, drink, decorations, activities for my guests, and run about 7 events for a total of 50 people. So you can see why I was delighted to source your unique Australian teas; this one had such of soft, calming and gentle lemony taste. I’m sure it’ll be a sensation! “It is great to find a tea website that is practical, gives you advice on what all the teas can be used for and such a variety. I have lemon tea every morning with manuka honey and seem not to catch a cold all winter.”

“My mother had talked about a tea that she has used for years when she lived in Portugal. After much searching for the translation of this particular tea I came across your website which had all the inforamtion I needed. I promptle had some delicered to her home where she was delighted to finally have her lemon verbena. Thank you for making my life easier.”

Hi Elizabeth, thanks for your feedback! At the moment it's a little too tricky for us to create individual back labels per tea type. One of the reasons we can offer pricier superior tea at reasonable prices is due to simplistic packaging (we don't like to pass packaging costs on to the customer, or shipping costs for that matter either). Eventually we'll try to work that out, but for now all steeping instructions are on the website.

“I'm histamine intolerant and was looking for a tea for the cold time of the year. The Lemon Verbena tea was bursting with freshness when I opened it. It has a lovely flavour, lemony with an undertone of honey. Will buy again!”
