“I've been a confirmed coffee aficionado for over 40 years, drinking commercial teas only on rare occasions, but for some reason coffee lost its allure with me this past December.I have an upcoming trip to Scotland and tea was calling my name, so after an online search, I discovered Brodies through Teadog. I learned some interesting facts about tea and its connection to Scotland on the website. I ordered Brodies because it was proclaimed to be robust and that is what I want first thing in the morning....something to get me going.
I was not disappointed. The flavor comes through with strength but is not astringent and is pronounced beautifully. I drink it with cream in the morning, no sugar. And in the afternoon, if I need a pick-me-up or just have time to savor a treat then I will add honey along with the cream. It satisfies the caffeine hit I need to get going with my day. But it also ticks the other boxes for me....hand-warming, wonderful steamy fragrance, comfort....it matches up to what coffee has been for me these many years. Nothing wimpy here. I love that it comes in loose leaf so I can adjust the strength to the morning. I'm nearly ready to be ordering my second bag. No need to try anything else.”
“I became addicted to strong, milky tea on a recent trip to Scotland, and Brodie's is simply the best breakfast tea I've gotten here in the US. Strong and flavorful but not bitter; I prefer the loose tea in a large infuser but the bags deliver an excellent cuppa as well. I rarely drink coffee at home anymore, finding this tea completely satisfying.

“This is the best tea in the world. As my dad used to say, "it puts hair on your chest" it's so strong and delicious. I buy it every three months or so, and drink it at home and at work. I have many other types of tea that I try and enjoy, but this is my go-to. Always, for the last 3-4 years.
I found it when my family and I had a holiday in upper Ontario and we decided to have our week's vacation theme be all things scottish, and my sister in law and I found a lovely shop that had the tea and I purchased some and decided, then and there, that it was the tea I wanted to drink forever.
