Miles Smugglers Gold 80 Tea Bags Reviews

4.6 Rating 9 Reviews
I was very pleased with the Miles smugglers tea I ordered. I usually make it on those mornings when I wake up sleepy, and I need a strong, but favorable drink to get me started on my day.I also drink it on those late afternoons when I need a pickup, but want a tea that is nicely flavored. Smugglers tea does the trick!

Have to admit it took a couple of mugs and then the flavor really showed.I expected this since this is a unique tea being from the Cornwall area. For my taste the flavor is of rich fresh bread as well as fragrance.Instead of the earthy malt teas I drink.Pares well with desserts, meals and Kendal pipe baccy.Heather honey does well with it.Unable to compare to any other teas.If you like variety, then definitely add this to your tea selection. Will purchase again when available.Shame its not sold as loose.Recomend buying and thank you Teadog for your expert advice and putting me on this grand tea.Maybe some day Teadog will carry Connemara. Good tea. I need to use 5 bags for a 4 cup pot to get strength I like. Good with oat milk. Not as Bewleys Irish Breakfast, or Bewleys Gold, my go to brands.

It is a mild tea and good but I still prefer Thompson's Irish Breakfast.

This is my preference between the two Miles blends. Its much stronger and closer to Yorkshire tea, which is our normal house tea. I would rate Smugglers just a smidge below Yorkshire Tea. But still very good.

Very nice blend, clear taste but not overwhelming. Stands up to small amount of honey but not so well to milk.

Surprisingly not quite as flavorful as regular Miles, but beautifully balanced.

Smuggler's Gold was a new tea for me. It was very fresh and well-blended. It is too high in tannins for my taste. However, if you like a brisky tea, give this one a try.
