Miles West Country Original 80 Tea Bags Reviews

5 Rating 19 Reviews
We live in the U.S. My husband went home last year to care for his mother for the last few months of her life. While in Somerset, he fell in love with Miles West Country tea (he was also PG Tips loyal). He says it is smooth and just reminds him of Home. It is very difficult to find so thank goodness for Tea Dog so I can buy several boxes when we start to run low.

I always enjoy West Country, which, to my taste, is much better than the Miles Smugglers Gold. West Country is not quite so strong as the bold best of Thompsons and Bewleys. More like Barrys black box and Yorkshire red. West Country simply out-flavors PG Tips and Lyons, and it buries the supermarket brands including Lipton, Tetley and Bigelow. Ive tried 30 different blended blacks sold by Teadog, and is is one I keep buying. (And, for what its worth, West Country comes my favorite box.)

My English husband went home to care for his Mum with his sisters for 8 months. His mum lived in Somerset and she had this tea in their cupboard so my husband tried it, he's a PG Tips guy. He really liked it but, unfortunately, upon returning to the states... it was impossible to find. Teadog saved my life and I am able to surprise him with a new stock every now and again.

Always the best. Great to find a source in N America.

What a lovely tea! Brisk, flavorful, stands up to milk (even to too much milk!). I look forward to it every morning.

I was disappointed that the Miles West Country loose tea was "Out of Stock". Reluctantly, I ordered the teabag version. To my surprise, these teabags made a very flavorful and strong pot of tea! I still look forward to ordering the "loose" tea if it comes back, but I'm here to tell you not to hesitate to try the teabags. I would buy them again.

Really enjoyed the gold tea and was happy to find that there was no comparison in flavor to there original tea.Whats the point in having a variety of teas if they taste the same right.Anyroad,a grand any time tea in my opinion.English style, medium strength, earthy flavor. Will definitely purchase again.Tah
