Edinburgh Whisky 4.4 Oz Loose Tea Reviews

Was ordering another tea and bought this on a whim! It's light and fruity with a heavenly bouquet. It's now my go-to over ice on a hot afternoon. Serendipity in a glass.

I brought the bags back from a trip to Scottland. So excited to be able to order it. The loose leaf smells and tastes fabulous.

If you like Earl Grey, then this one's a pleasant, alternative contender. Great body, flavor not as strong/perfumy as the bergamot used for Earl Grey. If you must use the Scotch whiskey analogy, then the whiskey notes are Highland, not a Lowland or Islay, more "clear or pure," not "peaty." Certainly not overpowering in the slightest, a good subtle combination/partner with the black tea. This one's moved to the top-of-my-list for hot tea.

We discovered this beauty during a visit to Edinburgh in 2014. Had no idea what to expect and had to wait until we arrived back home to Oregon to open the tin and taste it. Surprise! Whatever theyre adding to the fermentation adds to the teas aroma as well as the taste. Its a subtle sent of whiskey cask and roundness of malted flavor notes. Yum.

This tea has been one of my favorites for a long time. The last time I ordered this tea, the tea bags were out of stock, so I ordered the loose tea in a caddy. I have to say now that the loose tea has more flavor. Unfortunatly when I went to order the loose tea, only the teabags were in stock.
