“My whole family drinks hot tea but when I had a chance to go to London, we were in a Sainsbury store and I was open mouthed in awe - a whole aisle of nothing but tea! I bought several boxes, and one was the store brand. I fell in love with it, brought 3 boxes back to the states. And when I found it at TeaDog I was happy as a clam. Now when I drink a cuppa the taste reminds me of sitting in our rented 'flat' drinking hot tea to fortify us for the day of sight seeing or to sit and relax when we came back.”
“I'm an ex-pat Brit and tea, strong, is essential (my mother says that my tea looks like dark beer colour). For this you need proper tea bags, not weak stuff like Lipton's or PG Tips (sorry, but that's my bias). Sainsbury's tea has won tasting competitions in the UK, and for good reason.”
“This is by far the best Red Label tea of all teas. Nothing like waking up in the morning and having a cup of Sainsbury's Fairly Traded Red Label. Excellent smooth taste, not too heavy, and a great aftertaste.”
“If you're a fan of builders teas (those dark breakfast teas that are big on oompf and not big on delicacy) you've likely noticed that the ones labelled fair trade either taste weak or stale. This one doesn't! If you want that PG Tips/Typhoo /Tetley's British blend style that holds up to milk (and sugar for those who want it) then this is a tea you'll probably like.”
“I first tried Sainsbury tea when I was in London, and fell in love with it. I brought home 3 boxes and stretched them out as long as I could but its long gone now! When I found Sainsbury's at TeaDog I was very pleased. TeaDog has done right by me yet again! Hot tea is my comfort food and this past year I've needed LOTS of comforting! but a hot cup of tea with sugar and milk makes isolation more tolerable. I love me some TeaDog!”
