This is a very nice hojicha. It is pleasantly roasty, but there is some complexity and the underlying umami comes through well. The aroma is smokey woody and fresh.

I recently purchased the Hojicha loose-leaf tea and I have to say, it's one of the best teas I've ever had. The aroma is delightful and the taste is smooth yet robust. I love that it has a slightly nutty flavor which makes it unique. Overall, I highly recommend this tea to anyone who enjoys green tea.

I Love this hojicha, I do have another one in my pantry but this is my personal favourite! It has a unique Smokey mellow flavour to others, and I found it very soothing, I usually drink it around 7pm and no caffeine!
