Fortunately, download of Ventura took no time at all, but migration Assistant would not work. I wasted much time on the phone to Apple support. It seems the disk was incorrectly erased and a system admin password had been left behind which prevented me completing migration. I then had to erase the disc back to default settings and reload everything, after which migration worked okay, I feel both these problems could have been prevented with better quality control. Much unnecessary time wasted.”
