Tentrr is your private camping experience. We connect adventurers like you with private landowners who want to share their land so you can experience new places.
“My husband, 3 yr old son and myself went for a 2 night stay. We had a blast. Heidi was so accommodating, friendly and helpful. We got to feed the sheep, goats and chickens as well as explore the property at our leisure, which is beautiful by the way. All the little details at the site made all the difference ( bouquets of fresh flowers, citronella candles, fresh blueberries and local maple syrup …) such a sweet, romantic setting!”
“This is THE one you want.
This is an award-winning TentRR site, complete with all-new Coleman camping gear--portable fans, flashlights, lanterns, mugs, chargers, propane, gas grill, coolers--the works.
The accommodations were fabulous and so much more than other TentRR sites. Impeccable beds, linens, coffee, farm-fresh blueberries, packed cooler with ice and chocolate bars for smores, graham crackers, jumbo marshmallows, maple syrup, wipes, dishwashing liquid, water, wool blankets on star-gazing chairs, pine-wood well-lit outhouse, citronella tiki torches, endless wood, a rock-lined fire-pit... these things were all there, ready and waiting for us. We seriously only packed clothes, chips, and hotdogs. Everything else we needed was there.
If you're reading this far, then it's worth noting that this host family goes to great lengths to ensure their guests have a good stay. Their guestbook is filled with stories of grateful travelers, including ours. As a small family of four, with two urban screen-loving less-than-patient kiddos, getting out into nature in a way that is accessible, safe, and fun, is so important. This host exceeded our expectations, answered every question we had, was responsive and made it a top priority to help us make memories we will always cherish. Without a doubt, we will be back.”
“My first time camping and it felt like I was visiting family! Everything was taken care of and set up perfectly! Heidi was amazing with her communication and hospitality! I would highly recommend this campsite and can't wait to go back myself!”
“Beautiful one-of-a-kind place. Barbara, the host is such a thorough and thoughtful soul. We (3 adults, 4 children) made great memories and adventure staying at Fireflies and a Love Story. She was so communicative and very understanding with the travel changes we had. We were amazed and really appreciated all the little details that were at our site. Thank you! We may visit NH again just to camp there!! ❤❤”
“I cannot say enough good things about this site and the host. Heidi was absolutely fantastic. We only stayed one night as it was a stop over for us - me and my nine-year-old son. It was an incredibly special occasion especially as I had and have been sick for quite a long time and I was just picking up my son from camp - this overnight stay made my trip back home so much easier and was incredibly worthwhile. Heidi went to so much pain’s to make everything just absolutely perfect for us - I really hope to go back when I am well again and stay longer.”
“You can't ask for a better host than Heidi. She was very communicative and always eager to help. Our 7yo had a cold while there and she was kind enough to offer a hot water pad that helped her get a great night sleep. The site has everything that you need and the animals roaming nearby made it that much more special. Our 3yo and 7yo had a blast and us parents are considering returning without them for a romantic adventure together.”
“My family loved everything about our time on Barbara's farm. Barbara's daughter Heidi has created such a welcoming, thoughtful and comfortable 'glamping' experience. She really has gone 'above and beyond'. The main tent was set up with a lovely made queen-sized bed with all the amenities you would want and there was a separate tent for our three girls, each with their own futon, bedding and accessories. We happily used everything provided (apples, fresh farm eggs, s'mores kit, popcorn maker, coffee, tea, oatmeal, pancake mix, etc. etc.). The campsite and Coleman stove were perfectly set up and the new outhouse is the finest I have ever used! The setting was gorgeous and the kids got the chance to feed the farm animals and bathe the baby chicks. We are so thankful to Heidi and hope to return next summer!”
