“This was our first experience with Tentrr, and it could not have been better! Heidi and her family were unbelievable hosts. The site is well-organized and well-stocked (real dishes!), and they definitely went above and beyond with things like an extra tent for our kids, a croquet set, and farm-fresh eggs! The boys spent time feeding the sheep and the chickens, and we even got to borrow their sweet dog for awhile. Although we could have happily stayed at the farm all day we did venture out to eat and swim, as there are lots of nearby options. Would absolutely recommend this place to anyone looking. We loved the wonderful location (which really did have fireflies!) and the amazing hospitality!”
“Between the site itself, the hosts and their hospitality, this was the most wonderful experience! The hosts made sure we had absolutely everything we needed and more! We traveled with another couple and 4 children ages 4-7. There were s’more kits and popcorn to cook over the fire, board games and yard games. They took us on a hayride and the kids got to feed and pet all the beautiful, friendly farm animals. They left us more than enough firewood to stay warm all night. The bed was covered in so many cozy blankets and we were even given warm socks and toe warmers (which we didn’t even need bc the fireplace kept us toasty all night!) For breakfast there were fresh eggs, orange juice, pancake mix. I can’t say enough good things about this site and the amazing hosts. We can’t wait to go back!”
“We had an amazing time. The camp keepers went above and beyond with the setup, and had truly thought of everything. So many thoughtful touches made for a wonderful and relaxing experience. To keep us cozy they had plenty of blankets, warm socks, and firewood all set up for us. To keep us fed they had s'more kits, popcorn ready to pop, fresh eggs, coffee and hot chocolate. Beautiful touches all around the site with pumpkins, tiki torches, place settings, and fun including a croquet set! The campkeepers were wonderfully nice and helpful as we drove in and out, and we loved seeing the animals. Location was perfect too, not hard to get to but secluded and with a gorgeous view and trails to explore. Would highly recommend.”
“The family that runs this site is so incredibly special. They are the most loving, kind, fun, caring people! They set up so many "extras" for our trip - from a "tea tent" with treats to a vanity area with mirror and face wipes to a fairy house for the kids. They spent an entire evening with the kids letting them groom the horse, feed the chickens, and taking them on a hay ride. My kids were literally crying when they got home because they wanted to go back. Poor city kids! Also the farm is beautiful and made my kids and I burst into a rendition of the "The Hills are Alive" the first morning we awoke to the mountains and fall leaves. We'll be back! Highly recommended!”
“Perfect does not even begin to describe this site. From the privacy that we had to all of the details are hosts included it couldn't have been a better weekend. We should up late Friday night and our camp hosts had all of the tiki torches lit for us so we could find our way. If that isn't hospitality then I don't know what is! Will 100% be going back but this time for a longer stay!”
“This was by far the best Tentrr we've stayed at! I highly recommend staying here! The hosts, Heidi Jo and Barbara, were so sweet and thoughtful. The communication prior to staying was great. They added so many nice touches to the campsite- pumpkins, fresh cut flowers, 2 tables set with actual dishes and mugs. They provided pancake mix/syrup, fresh farm eggs, coffee and a griddle to use in the morning. We were traveling with our 2.5 year old daughter and they had left a scavenger hunt for her to do while out the campsite! Great idea! She loved sitting in the mini adirondack chair that was provided. I would highly recommend this site if you have little ones. The campsite is on a beautiful family farm that has sheep, chickens, a horse and dogs. We were able to meet the animals and our daughter couldn't be happier! They really took the time to make sure our stay was perfect. They also respected our privacy at the campsite. There is also a pond and trails on the property which we didn't get around to seeing but hope to do so next time.
The site has everything you need- tons of firewood, bedding, a real mattress (!!!!), BBQ tools, griddle, plenty of water, a separate "stall" for the loo, and even an extra screened in tent with an extra table. You can drive and park right up at the site. It's very private and serene. Lots of beautiful wildflowers around and a perfect view of the stars at night.
It's a beautiful place and we can't wait to go back. We said it within the first 10 minutes we were at the site that this is a special place and we are excited to return one day!”
