Chris is a wonderful host! He is very helpful, and provides everything you need. The campsite was perfect and the pond was so nice to have available!

Great camp site with everything we needed for a short escape from the city. Chris and his wife couldn't have been more accommodating (even lighting the fire for us when we failed and welcoming us with coronas on arrival). Highly recommend!

Not only is the camp site perfect - fishing, swimming, camp fires and privacy - but Chris is the perfect host. He is full of suggestions and does what he can to make sure you have an ideal stay in the woods. We'll definitely be returning soon!

Exactly what I was looking for. Secluded, private perfect sanctuary. Chris was the perfect host, despite being away.

The site did not meet our expectations, so far as the pond was not really part of the "campsite" rather part of the host's back yard. In essence you are welcome to use it but the hosts were using the backyard area during the times we would have liked to enjoy the pond. We found the pictures of the campsite a bit deceiving, in that it was not as secluded as we envisioned. You are not completely encircled by trees, but rather the site is abutted on one side by grassy area seemingly belonging to a nearby neighbor. Although out of earshot, we heard sounds from the neighbors and hosts properties during the night as well as distant noise from the roadways. The hosts were kind enough to provide us with two rolls of toilet paper when we asked. The hosts provided a wagon with which to bring firewood from their backyard to the campsite. In the end we enjoyed our stay but we feel like we overpaid for what we received and that there were likely more secluded/beautiful campsites in the area that we could have chosen.

The campsite is just as wonderful as Chris and his wife. From the start, Chris gave us fantastic suggestions for everything that we needed while on our stay. We arrived in the evening after dark and even then set up was seamless with the guidance of Chris's wife. There was a large wagon waiting for us by the car park to help us carry ALL of our belongings to the tent which is a short walk into the backwoods. The site was very well kept and dry firewood was supplied. There was plenty to do on the property, but there were also countless amazing hikes a short drive away as well as the small downtown area with several cute hangouts like Hash (a great brunch place we stopped at on the way out). Will for sure be coming back to this property!

Chris was a great host! We got held up in traffic and ended up getting there really late, but he waited up for us and was there to help us set up and give us all the info and answer questions. The spot is really nice and private, but still close enough, so that you don’t have to hike that long to get to your vehicle. Highly recommend!

What a lovely time! The tent is tucked away at the back of Chris' property, just behind a pond. It's a heavily wooded area that is gorgeous and peaceful. It was really easy check-in and wonderful meeting Chris! He's a great guy and happens to be one of the heads of Tentrr. Bonus! A fun stay that was no hassle and quite relaxing. Great hiking nearby as well!
