If you ever need a space just to go and enjoy the outdoors, this is it. It is a true escape with one of the best views in New York. The trail around the property is so fun. We brought our dog who enjoy the stay just as much as we did.

Great location. Really well stocked. Very comfortable mattress in the big tent. Plenty of places to cook. Beautiful views. Lakes close by. No complaints! Even with two days of rain we loved it.

This was our second visit to the Andes Escape and it was as good or better than the first! The camp itself is pretty bare bones, but having available electricity and the outdoor shower makes a huge difference! There's everything you need to grill a meal and sit and enjoy the view. The location is truly spectacular for the views, stargazing around the fire and exploring the expansive grounds. Privacy at it's finest, but yet just a 15 min drive to delicious food, shops, etc. Highly recommend!

Wonderful location and wonderful hosts. We noticed upon arrival that the shower was not working and within 30 minutes of alerting the host, he arranged for a repair to fix the issue. Very responsive with nice suggestions for activities to do in the area.

The view from here is spectacular and unreal. Loved the site, easy to get to but definitely need the right car (Mine is FWD but it’s a Jeep Renegade). There’s not really hiking straight from the campsite but there’s tons of cool trails not far (I suggest Giant Ledge). There’s also lots of cool shops and a grocery store in Margaretville which is only 10-15 minutes away. Communication was also great and Charlie was very helpful. Only downside was the tent itself was pretty dirty, lots of dirt and bugs and the air mattress was old and dirty, but I guess that’s why there’s not pictures of it lol. Another FYI is the toilet is inside the tent. Still a good value for what it is considering the view and that there’s no cleaning fee (except if there was I totally wouldn’t mind paying it to have the tent be cleaner; We opted to sleep in the car). Also the toilet and shower were cleaned, so don’t worry about that part!

We love this site. The view is spectacular, the Tentrr is centrally located near hikes, runs, towns, cideries, et al. The site is also reasonably well-equipped, though we would suggest bringing a camping stove which made our second time here feel even closer to 'glamping'. We would go back anytime.

Everything was beautiful!! Unfortunately we did leave a night early due to the weather, but we loved everything about it. Including the trails on the property you could walk. Also so close to many hiking trails. If you are bringing your pup, behind the tent like 10 yards was a swamp that our fearless lab got into quite a few times. We will be back one day!!

This site was absolutely stunning. It was truly a treat to wake with them sunrise and sleep with the natural night light of the moon watching over us. It was cloudy all weekend we stayed so at first I was kind of bummed we couldn’t do any stargazing as some of the other reviewers mentioned BUT the pink billowing clouds during sunset were truly fantastical. They were so big they almost seemed reachable. So what I’m trying to say is…this place is so perfect even cloudy days are magical. Charlie and Kim were prompt and wonderful campkeepers making communication easy and the process seamless. We will definitely be making a return trip in the future.
