“This was my first time booking on tentrr. My boyfriend and I planned a last minute getaway upstate. I’ve never been camping before but I’m a convert now! Charlie and Kim’s tentrr site is so incredibly beautiful, amazing views, super private and quiet. We could have not dreamt up a better or romantic location to experience Fall upstate. Charlie was super helpful and attentive with communication, local recommendations and answering questions. We had such an amazing time and can’t wait to return! Highly recommend staying at Charlie and Kim’s property and will recommend to all our friends! Thank you for sharing your wonderful site!”
“Peaceful and lovely spot. Drove in with minivan carefully but 4w would be better. View is great with remote vibe even though you are someone’s land. Owners have great communication but are unseen which is nice.”
“This place is perfect. Drove right up to the site. Beautiful surroundings and view. Charlie was quick to respond and super friendly. Clean. Bed was very comfortable. No noise besides nature. Very private. Stargazing is perfect here. I definitely recommend.”
“Andes was a wonderful site and the views are amazing! It was easy to find and the path was suitable for our small sedan to get up. We enjoyed walking the mowed pathways on the property, listening to the coyotes at night, and star gazing. The space heater came in handy as the nights were cold, but I would still advise to bring layers and good sleeping bags. Having an electric outlet near the tent was an unexpected added convenience and we did use it when we needed a charge for our phones which we used a lot to get around the area. Kim and Charlie were quick to reply to our questions and provided us with all the information we needed to enjoy our stay.”
“Andes Escape is spectacular. We stayed for 2 incredible nights and I wish we could have stayed for more. We showed up with a mini cooper so we had to take the drive in with some caution but it was passable. We arrived in the evening to the most beautiful sunset over the Catskills, woke up to a lovely nature walk around the beautiful property with unlimited fields of wildflowers, then had a wonderful afternoon of kayaking. It was a bit brisk to use the outdoor shower but the site has running water and electricity which was an amazing unexpected bonus, extra pots and pans which came in to be quite helpful and extra table space for us to do all the cooking we wanted. Definitely pick up some firewood on your way in but if you've made it as far as reading this review, this site is perfect. Thanks so much Kim and Charlie!”
“The campsite was even better than shown in the photos. The whole area is well maintained from the tent to the mowed walking paths on the property. The site is very private and secluded. We highly recommend this campsite if you are looking for a relaxing weekend away!”
