“Lynn and James were amazing hosts! The campsite was perfect for a one night getaway. A creek at our front door and a campfire for cooking hot dogs. 10/10 experience. I definitely will be returning.”
“We love this little spot. Whether you want to cook or eat out, swim and do active stuff or lazy around, it really is an ideal spot. It is perfectly out of the way with zero light pollution but still convenient to Staunton and all their great food and entertainment options. The babbling brook sounds from the nice slow-flowing part of the Middle River were wonderful. The Wegner's were very kind in recieving us and set up that campsite very nicely. All the amenities were perfectly tidy and well thought out above and beyond the Tentrr standards. We crashed on the bed for an amazing nap in the first two hours there. The sounds of nature and gentle breezes were so relaxing. It was overcast and even a little rainy but still purely enjoyable. We plan to return again.”
“We stayed there in July 2022, and had a great time. The online pictures do not do it justice, it is a great campsite. You are next to the river which is relatively tranquil here. The host, James, provides innertubes which is nice. There is also a rope swing here. The water never gets real deep, maybe 5 -6 feet so that is nice as well. James is super easy to work with, and quick to respond. The site has all the usual items, but they also provide wood and starter for the campfire. In case of rain, they have board games as well. A great location.”
“This was our first Tentrr experience and I really enjoyed being able to camp in such a gorgeous, serene place without having to pack up my entire house. The location was idyllic, set in a peaceful farm and the hosts helped us find it by escorting us over (there were signs too, but they are just very sweet and accommodating). They have set up a port-o-potty (there is still a Tentrr loo if you prefer), plenty of water, a stove, blankets, games, a shower, and tubes for playing in the river. We brought extra water, food, and clothes. Our kids loved skipping rocks, playing in the creek, and having a little campfire. Excellent spot! It’s close enough for a side trip to Staunton if you need more to do for a longer trip.”
